Supporter Relationships Administration Assistant

With a key focus on supporting the delivery of our successful Supporter Engagement Program, Community First Development is now seeking to appoint a Supporter Engagement Administration Assistant to fill a newly created position. Reporting directly to the General Manager Supporter Engagement, this position will be the first point of contact for Community First Development’s supporters, provide administration assistance and always ensure a high level of customer service.

Primary Objectives: 

  • First point of contact for supporter enquiries

  • Data Processing and data entry

  • Build strong relationships and assist with supporter engagement and retention

  • Support with preparing, editing, and reviewing a broad range of communication pieces

 

The successful candidate will require: 

  • Proven organisational, administrative, and planning skills, including ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in data entry, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook.

  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • An ability to use your initiative.

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Work autonomously as well as work as part of a team.

  • Demonstrated high level communication skills (oral and written), creativity, resourcefulness and an internal/external customer service orientation are essential to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, stakeholders and communities.
