Together, We've Created Change: Our Impact in 2024

As we reflect on 2024, one thing is clear - none of this would have been possible without our supporters!

Together, we’ve fueled change, inspired growth, and supported communities across the country. We've achieved extraordinary outcomes that will have lasting impact.

Every conversation, every project, and every shared moment reminds us that real change happens when we work together.

Next year is Community First Development’s 25th anniversary!

A significant milestone in our history. We’re looking forward to celebrating this achievement with you and sharing the stories of impact, growth, and transformation that have defined our journey.

One of our standout moments this year was our Blak Business Panel event. This gathering brought together First Nations business owners for an inspiring conversation on business, growth, and opportunity.

The event showcased the power of First Nations businesses and the vital role they play in driving cultural, social, and economic impact. The stories shared were nothing short of inspiring, highlighting why listening to and investing in First Nations businesses matters now more than ever.

Championing Community-Led Solutions on the Global Stage

This year, our CEO, Stephanie, represented Community First Development on the global stage at the Commonwealth People's Forum in Samoa. Speaking on “Community-Led Initiatives Towards Climate Justice and Health Justice,” she shared the power of community-driven solutions with international leaders.

At Community First Development, we witness daily the incredible solutions that First Nations communities create to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Steph spotlighted how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are overcoming barriers to care for Country and community. We’re incredibly proud of you, Steph!

Our Vision for 2025 and Beyond

We’re thinking big for the future.

Our new five-year strategic plan outlines ambitious goals to deepen our impact and amplify community voices.

We work with First Peoples to realise community aspirations. We connect community with industry to share skills and expertise.

We create two-way learning environments that unite First Peoples and non-Indigenous peoples.

I am proud to present Community First Development’s five-year strategic plan and explore the

opportunity it provides to nurture existing relationships and promote collaboration with our partners, volunteers, and supporters.
