OUR STORY OF CHANGE ANIMATION
We are delighted to launch our Story of Change animation today!
We developed the animation to showcase our approach to the outcomes we are achieving with First Nations communities around Australia.
Every community we work with has their own Story of Change – their journey of where they are now to where they want to be. Like any journey, it includes successes, obstacles, problem-solving and achievements. In some cases, we are only a small part of a community’s journey. Other times, we are walking beside community for a longer time. We support communities to work on their chosen priorities to create better outcomes such as healthier country or to improve education outcomes or employment.
The most important element of success in any project is self-determination. Every decision and action begins there. All other outcomes in the community ecosystem are impacted positively when we start with self-determination.
This project involved a lot of yarning, listening and learning from our senior First Nations colleagues.
More information on the creation of our Story of Change and the theory behind it can be found here, or you can watch the animation below.
